From Trash to Treasure.. Dumpster diving again

This time it was my 13 year old daughter who did the dumpster diving. She came home with this little gem. She pulled it out the other day, ran home and placed it at my feet like she was giving me an offering for her supper haha.. Sorry about the vintage effect. I promise I will change back soon. I have instagram on the brain:)

1. Start with something absolutely rusty and beat up

First I started out by wiping it down. It was completely filled with cobwebs. Yuck.. Then I pounded the front in a bit
Next I gathered my supplies for adding the word HOPE.. Even in the dirtiest things and situations we can find hope if we look for it

Then I added my dirt and flowers and wallah.
